DISCUSSION:   A SUBSIDENCE PATTERN IS CURRENTLY KEEPING A CAP ON SHOWER ACTIVITY ACROSS THE REGION WITH GENERALLY SUNNY SKIES PREVAILING. THE PRESENCE OF THE SAHARAN DUST IN THE REGION IS ALSO CONTRIBUTING TO A RESTRICTION IN SHOWER ACTIVITY. THE FORECAST MODELS ARE ALL IN AGREEMENT IN INCREASING THE MOISTURE AND INSTABILITY LEVELS ACROSS THE REGION BEGINNING TONIGHT AND CONTINUING THROUGH MONDAY AS A WESTERLY MOVING TROUGH SLOWLY TRAVERSES THE REGION. AS A RESULT, THE CHANCES OF SHOWER ACTIVITY FOR THIS PERIOD WILL INCREASE TO 70 PERCENT OR HIGH.
