The Eastern Caribbean Forecast valid up to 8am Tuesday 22nd October 2024.

Wx: As the axis of a weak trough moves westwards, a more settled environment will gradually return to the Leewards, and islands further south today. Therefore, skies over the Leewards, Windwards and Barbados  will be generally partly cloudy with brief passing showers possible this morning. The northern end of the trough, could cause an increase in shower activity over the Virgin Islands later today. By tonight, an increase in moisture will heighten the chance of showers over the Windwards and Barbados. Meanwhile, available moisture and local effects and the inter-tropical convergence zone activity could generate localize afternoon buildups over Puerto Rico and Trinidad and Tobago respectively

Winds: East to Southeast at 17 to 31 km/h or 10 to 20 mph gusting higher at times mainly around the Windwards.

Seas: 1.5 to 2.4 meters or 5 to 8 feet with northerly swells of 1.5 meters or 5 feet.
