Weather: Across the eastern Caribbean from the BVI southwards to T&T, lingering instability from the passage of a surface trough along with low level pockets of moisture traversing the area on a moderate to fresh wind flow will lead to partly cloudy to cloudy skies with a heightened chance of showers over and around the islands periodically during the next 24 hours. Winds: East at 19 to 33 km/h or 12 to 21 mph, gusting as high as 48 km/h or 30 mph during showers, as well as over open waters and in elevated areas. Seas: 1.8 to 3.1 metres or 6 to 10 feet, with swells reaching as high as 2.4 metres or 8 feet.
