DISCUSSION: A DRY AND STABLE AIR MASS CONTINUED TO INHIBIT SHOWERS ACROSS THE AREA; WHILST, MAINTAIN FAIR TO PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES. A TIGHTENED PRESSURE GRADIENT INFLUENCED BY A DOMINANT SURFACE HIGH PRESSURE SYSTEM GENERATED A MODERATE TO FRESH TRADE WIND FLOW ACROSS THE ISLANDS. THESE CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED TO BE MAINTAINED ACROSS THE AREA FOR THE REST OF TODAY; ANY POSSIBLE SHOWERS ARE EXPECTED TO BE LIGHT AND BRIEF.

LATEST MODEL GUIDANCE MAINTAINS RELATIVELY STABLE CONDITIONS ACROSS THE LEEWARD ISLANDS AND BVI FOR THE NEXT 24 HRS. RADAR IMAGERY, CURRENT OBSERVATIONS AND LATEST MODEL PROJECTIONS ARE IN GENERAL AGREEMENT WITH THE LATEST ISSUED FORECAST.
