DISCUSSION:   LINGERING MOISTURE AND INSTABILITY FROM THE PASSAGE OF TROPICAL STORM JERRY TRIGGERED CLOUDINESS AND SHOWERS ACROSS THE ISLANDS THIS MORNING. A LINE OF SHOWERS WAS PARTICULARLY NOTICEABLE ON RADAR AND SATELLITE IMAGERY. SINCE THEN MIMIC IS SHOWING A DECREASE IN MOISTURE FOR THE PAST FEW HOURS. RECENT MODEL RUNS HOWEVER SHOW AN INCREASE IN MOISTURE A SURGE OF MOISTURE TO MOVE INTO THE AREA OVER THE NEXT TWENTY FOUR HOURS TO TRIGGER CLOUDINESS AND SHOWERS. MEANWHILE, AS TROPICAL STORM JERRY IS MOVING AWAY FROM THE REGION HIGH SURFS CONTINUE TO IMPACT NORTH FACING BEACHES AND THE HIGH SURF ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT.
